Pumpkin Patch time…

It’s that time of the year again when we bundle up and head out to the Hill Country for a pumpkin patch visit. This year it was actually cold enough to bundle up a bit. Addie’s been to Sweet Berry Farms three times now. Let’s take a quick look at each visit:

She really only wanted to go to see the “yoats” (goats). That and arrange the little pumpkins in neat orderly lines on the hay bales. The big hit of the day was pumpkin ice cream (“special treat!”).

William stayed bundled with Mama during the whole trip and Em alternated between watching Addie and sporting Addie’s hat.

You can see the rest of the pictures from this year’s trip as well as some other fall fun here.

Welcome William!

William Strong Connor made his debut on 9/22/2012, one day past his due date. He was 7lbs., 9oz. and 19.5in. long. After a relatively fast delivery at 8:30pm and a relatively sleepless night, we were thrilled to enjoy our family of four (!) when Addie came to meet her brother. Life has been a blur (as evidenced by this delayed post) but we are all thrilled to have “baby brother come out.”

So far, William has been nursing like a champ and back to his birth weight by day 3 and has already put on at least an extra pound and grew an inch and a half.

We’re learning his quirks: loves sleeping on his side (cuddled to mama), likes diaper changes and baths, manages to free his hands from the tightest of swaddles and loves his big sister. Luckily, she loves him “so much” and is very excited about him being awake with “eyes open!”

We’ll keep the new family updates coming on our new site here at ConnorKids.com so update your bookmarks (Daddy grins, Mama rolls eyes)!
