Addie is a big fan of parties. Dance parties, ‘bert-day’ parties, etc. She’s getting used to the idea that not all of them are for her, and that’s pretty ok as long as she gets invited.

Today we went to Aunt Jeanne and Buddy’s house for Mama’s birthday. The whole in-town family was there, including her cousin Baby Lyndon (not sure when she’ll drop the ‘baby,’ or who she is differentiating him from, but for now that’s his name). Addie designated herself chief caretaker for the evening except when the trains went by. Then she had to relieve duty to Lyndon’s grandma so she could go watch out the window.
